As the breeder, I reserve the right to retain any kid at any time for our own farm stock. I do not require a deposit for reservations at this time. Reservation lists are created on a first come first serve basis, but my goal is to make sure that future homes are the right fit for both kids and humans alike. If you do not get the kid of your choice this breeding season, I will gladly place you on a list for the following year. You will be contacted when the kids are born and are required to make a 50% non-refundable deposit within 1 week on the kid you have chosen. Kids will be dam raised for 8-12 weeks prior to going to their new homes to allow for proper rumen development.  At the time of weaning you will have 1 week to pick up your kid, unless other arrangements have been made, and the remaining 50% balance is due upon pick up.  I accept cash, personal check, and Paypal for payment.  However, personal checks must be cleared before kids will be released to their new home.  All kids are sent home vaccinated for CD&T, coccidia prevention given, and hooves trimmed. Registered stock will come with their ADGA papers and tattoos (wethers are not eligible for registration).  Horned kids will be disbudded unless specifically requested otherwise, all requested horned kids must be paid for in full (non-refundable) at birth. Wether/pet reservations are a running waitlist fulfilled on a first come first serve basis and are priced at $150 each or $250/pair, $300 for three.  No holds will be honored for pet/wether kids that have not received a deposit. Goats will not be sold to a home that does not have another goat on the property of similar age and size.  Goats are herd animals and require the companionship of at least one other goat for their health and happiness.  If you are just starting out and are purchasing registered stock, we can discuss selling you a wether at a discount to serve as a buddy goat.  Prices for registered stock are listed on the Breeding Schedule tab and are dependent upon the breeding pair and their achievements, i.e. LA score, show ring results, milk stars, SG, etc. These prices may change once kids are born and can be more closely inspected. If you are particularly interested in a buckling out of a breeding pair please indicate this when you place your reservation and we will discuss potential for a buckling once the kids hit the ground.  Starting in 2021 all bucklings born on our farm that will be registered and sold as breeding stock will have their DNA submitted to ADGA prior to leaving our farm.  This is non-negotiable. The health of our herd is examined on a continuous basis to ensure that all goats are healthy prior to leaving our farm, however we cannot guarantee the health of an animal after it leaves our premises.  This is due to many factors including diet, differing animal management practices, environmental conditions, etc.  We do however guarantee the fertility of any of our goats that are sold as registered breeding stock.  If you believe that your goat is infertile then we will replace your goat with another of similar quality as available, refunds will not be made.  In order for your goat to qualify for a replacement you will need to provide us with a written confirmation of infertility by a licensed veterinarian that has physically examined your goat, this confirmation needs to state that the infertility problem is genetic in origin and is not due to animal care or management practices.  Such written confirmation needs to be sent within 30 days of the veterinarian examination.  Last but certainly not least, I reserve the right to refuse the sale of any goat to any owners at any time.  It is very important that my goats go to kind and loving families and I will not settle for less than that.
